Obituary
Mercedes - Valeriano Ortiz, 43, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen. He was born October 11,1978 to Santos and Arcelia Ortiz in Adrian, Michigan. Valeriano is survived by his loving wife, Monica Rubio; children, Santos Ortiz, Tyler Jay Ortiz, and Mikki Valerie Ortiz. He is also survived by his parents, Arcelia and Santos Ortiz; siblings, Bobby Joe Ortiz and Chris Ortiz.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A holy rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St Theresa Of Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Inurnment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Cardoza Funeral Home of Edcouch is in charge of funeral arrangements.
