Miguel "Mike" Ozuna, 44, passed away suddenly at his residence in Frisco, TX. Mike was born February 4, 1974 in Weslaco to Teofilo and Castula (Gonzalez) Ozuna. Mike graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History at Sam Houston State University in Houston in 1997. Mike's work history included his position as Director of Human Resources (HR) for Weslaco (1999-2005), Director of HR in Cedar Park, TX (2005-2016), and Director of HR for the City of Bedford (2017-2018). Mike is survived by his wife, Patsy Ozuna, and daughters, Alexandra and Madison Ozuna. He is also survived by his sisters, Juanita (+Ciro Jr.) Caceres and Belinda (David) Dominguez; and brothers, Teofilo (Mirna) Ozuna, Baldomero (Yolanda) Ozuna, and Carlos (Frances) Ozuna. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Vicky (+Ricardo) Gonzalez, and Castula “Tati” (Rolando) Guerra.

Viewing will by Tuesday, March 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Wednesday, March 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco. Pallbearers will be Victor M. Urteaga, Baldomero Ozuna, Carlos Ozuna, Teofilo Ozuna, Ciro Caceres III, Juan Caceres, Joe Perez, and Marcial Cavazos. Honorary pallbearers will be Baldomero Ozuna Jr., Teofilo Caceres, Eric Ozuna, Carlos Ozuna, Jr., David Dominguez, Jr., Jose Charles, and Kenny Ozuna.
